Johana Prower, widow, was buried FStG 3 June 1622.
John [illegible Barnes?] [Note:- Added by Mike Russell OPC:- Although the surname is not clear I think this says 'John BARNES holdeth [rest missing] ' The surname is written in the same way as the surname in 'William BARNES thelder' further down the document and the last word prior to the cut off is 'holdeth' -- We know he was a tenant at this date from his Will cont:-
[illegible - missing] __ [missing] // by copie dated xlij Rne [~1599/1600] F A farthing holde in the East Tything  ___  p Reddin @ xijs  worth by the yeare above the [missing] John BARNES wrote his will on 14th Jun 1609 and according to the inventory attached to probate died 2 days later with probate being granted 1st Sep 1609. Although he left a widow Maude there are no bequests to children. I also think he was born circa 1543 and would have been in his 70's. His widow was presumably of a similar age and the copyhold was probably therefore surrendered on his death in 1609 but in any event before the 1615 Survey.

Can't locate Anthonie Barnes' burial in FStG, DAS, DHT or DStP up to 1650. Agnes, wife of Anthony Barnes, was buried FStG 14 May 1628. While there is a Mary wife of Anthony Barnes junior buried FStG 19 February 1618/19, Anthony junior's son, John Barnes, was buried FStG 23 March 1618/19, so Mary is not the wife of the first mentioned Anthonie Barnes who held a whole place in 1600.

William Barnes the elder holds the plot in 1600. His wife Marie was buried FStG 11 January 1587/8 but by 1615 buried FStG 30 Jan 1621/22.

 Richard Bartlet was the son of Robert Bartlet (died 1579, see Mike Russell's will transcript). He held the same cottage in the 1615 Survey of the Manor, when he was still paying 9d in rent.  Richard Bartlett buried FStG 9 September 1620
Robert  Bartlett  by copie grannted xiiij yeres past [~1586] F a ffarthinghold and a halfe place Rent @ xijs for the ffarthinghold and @ xiijs iiijd for the //halfe place  the halfe place worth by the yere clare @ vjl the ffarthinghold @ iijl vjs viijd.  Robert Bartlet was buried FStG 10 Nov 1624. He is listed in the 1615 Survey of Fordington Manor holding the same whole place and a half place. His age in 1615 is given as 52, ie born 1563.  Mike Russell notes RB was under the age of 24 when RB's father Robert Bartlet wrote his Will in 1579 .
Willm  Bascombe Jun by copie grannted xxviij Rne [~1582/3]  F one ffarthing holde   Rent @ xijs  worth clare p Ann @ iijl vjs viijd   A burial for William Bascombe junior has not yet been located (note:- burial registers missing 1600-1602 inc + 1609-1613 inc) This farthinghold is in possession of Thomas Botescomb, age 42 in the 1615 Survey of the Manor. We know this because the rent for this plot is the same in both Surveys - 12s - and the rent for the plot held by William Bascombe senior of 13s 6d matches the rent paid by Agnes Botscombe in the 1615 Survey.

This farthinghold is in possession of Agnes Botscombe, age 60 in the 1615 Survey of the Manor. This suggests Agnes was William Bascombe's widow.

Robert  Bun   by copye grannted //about xxty yeres past [~ 1580] H one halfe place  Rent @ xiijs iiijd worth clare p Ann @ vjl   Robert Bun still holds this half place in the 1615 Survey of the manor, which gives his age in 1615 as 57 (b.1558). Robert was buried at FStG 30 Sept 1639. His will transcribed by Mike Russell reveals that he married Edith and they had eight of their nine children alive at the time of Robert's death.

And his rent has increased by 1 pence to sixpence. This is probably  John Bun sen buried FStG 12 August 1623 (there is another John Bun tenant in 1615 born 1575 who holds a tenement & farthinghold plot )

Possibly buried as illegible Bird sen at DHT Sep 1643 which would make his age 88. Married Thomasin Palmer HT 6th Jan 1577. Although he married and was buried at DHT, Wm Bird was churchwarden at FStG for many years in 1594, 1606-1608.
Vvian [?Xpian- Christian?] Chownte  by widdowhood  H a halfe place p reddin @ viijs iiijd    worth __ above the rent __ vjl [?] __ __ noe herriott d__ wthin the space __yeres  __ // By the 1615 Survey of the Manor, this half place was held by Thomas Chounte. Mike Russell's transcription of the will of Harry Chownte who died between July 1583 and may 1584 shows Harry Chownte's wife was Xpian (Christian) and he had a son Thomas Chounte, so Vvian in this 1600 Survey is probably Xpian.

His wife Christian was buried at FStG on 25th Mar 1607. William Clowter's burial has not yet been located.

Elizabeth  Corbyn widowe by widdowes estate H halfe a place // Rent @ xvs jd  worth clare p Ann vjl no ffine  nor herriot due within this xij yere She was the second wife of Richard Corbin, baker,  who was buried DHT 8 Feb 1587/8 according to research by Mike Russell. Richard's will transcribed by Mike Russell. Elizabeth was buried DHT 28 Sep 1608

Possibly the son of John and Jone Cosens, born after 1551 since he was under 21 when father John Cozens died - see his Will 15 March 1571 transcribed by Mike Russell. Buried 10 April 1604 FStG.  Will dated 6th Apr 1604  also transcribed by Mike Russell. OR could he be the son of William Cosens the elder who died 1589, the register for that year is missing but see his will dated 3rd Mar 1586/7 transcribed by Mike Russell
Margarett  Cosons   for her widdowhood  H one other halfe place  p Reddin @ xiijs iiijd  and worth above the rent @ vjl  [illegible] // [illegible] upon the death of her said husband @ xijd  Margaret Cosens widow buried FStG 5 March 1614/15.She was probably Margaret nee ARNOLDE who married John COSENS the Elder at FStG in 1577.

This is possibly the property (12 acres, 3 roods) held by John Cosens in the 1615 Survey.
Willm  Crymble    by copie grannted xiiij yeres past [~1586]  H halfe a place  Rent @ xiijs vijd worth //clare p Ann @ vjl   xijd herriot custome upon the death of his ffather who died about vj yeres past [ie ~ 1594/5]  William Crymble was the son of William Crymble or Crimmel, and born ~ 1565 according to the 1615 Survey of the Manor of Fordington. His father died May 1595 leaving a will dated 5 May 1595 transcribed by Mike Russell (the inventory taken 23 May 1595)

Looks like William and Elizabeth had no male children surviving by 1574 and their daughters were all married. Elizabeth Downton buried FStG 25 Jan 1604/5

His wife Mellysent [Millicent] Eames pre-deceased him being buried at FStG on 23rd May 1614 leaving 3 sons - John Eames (1586/7-1662) , Richard Eames (1588-1634) and Anthony Eames (1595-1661/2, This plot has been ceded to his eldest son John EAMES by custom of the manor in the 1615 Survey of Fordington Manor and is still held by him in the 1650 Survey.

He was buried at FStG on 25 Jun 1618 aged 79 . His wife Mellysent [Millicent] Eames was buried at FStG on 23rd May 1614). This plot descended to his son Richard in 1618 and was held by Richard's son Edward Eames (1618-1685) in the 1650 Survey of Fordington Manor.

John Forde's wife Ann was buried FStG 20 March 1627/28. An illegible Fforde was buried at FStG in 1637 - this could be John Ford, or Henrie Ford
[James]  Gould  by copie dated xxxix Rne [~ 1596/7] M one tent called halfe place and seaven cottage and a farthinge holde in ffordington Reddit @ ___ half place worth by the yere above the Rente @ ___ [remainder illegible]   noe herriot because he took yt upon surrender  This is James Gould (d.1613), who died at Bath, Somerset, and was buried at bath Abbey 27 April 1613 according to Mike Russell. James' widow Joane Gould is listed in the 1615 Survey of the Manor holding six cottages a half place and a farthinghold. She was buried Dorchester St Peters 1630.  
John G___ // [?Gorlde, or Gould?] __ by copie dated xxixth Regne [~1586/7]  M one tent called a whole place another called halfe a place and another called a ffarthinghold  p reddin vi_ __ __  ffyne xiijl  The__ //[illegible] place @ xijl the half place vl & the ffarthingholde ___  herriott nothinge because he took yt upon Surrender   John's surname is illegible in this 1600 Survey, however a John Gorlde [Gould] is listed at the head of the Survey as one of the tenants. In the 1615 Survey John Gould held two whole places a half place and a farthinghold, which does match this entry.  
John G___ // [?Gorlde, or Gould?] The same John holdeth by another copye // W [illegible] tente called a whole place wthin west tythinge  p reddin @ xj __ _ _ worth by the yere __ __ __ his fyne at viij  __ heryott bycause he took yt //[upon] surrender John's surname is illegible in this 1600 Survey, however a John Gorlde [Gould] is listed at the head of the Survey as one of the tenants. In the 1615 Survey John Gould held two whole places a half place and a farthinghold, which does match this entry.

Buried FStG 5 March 1628. Will transcribed by Mike Russell. By the 1615 Survey, John Hunt no longer listed as a tenant. In the 1615 Survey this farthinghold is held by his elder brother Ambrose HUNT (1592/3-1661).

John Ingram  by copie dated xvi Rne [~ 1574] H one halfe place Rent @ xijs ixd  worth clare p Ann @ vjl   John Ingram wrote his will on 16th Dec 1602 and an inventory of his goods was taken after his death on 10th Feb 1602/3. This copyhold plot was inherited by custom of the manor by his widow and executrix Agnes INGRAM (1565-1638/9) see 1615 Survey of Fordington Manor.
Robert  Ingram  by copie dated xx Rne [~ 1580] // F a ffarthinghold Rent @ xijs  worth clare p Ann @ iijl vjs viijd   Robert Ingram married ___ Oliver according to will of John Oliver 1573 transcribed by Mike Russell.  Robert's wife Katherine was buried FStG 24 April 1616, so he was alive then although he is not listed on 1615 Survey of Fordington manor. His burial has not been located, so possibly 1600-1602, or 1609-1613, years for which the FStG register is missing

Not sure who Elizabeth Jolif is - not yet located in DHT, DAS, DStP or FStG registers. Not among tenants in the 1615 Survey of Fordington manor. 

[Note:- Added by Mike Russell OPC:- The Will of Henry JOLIFFE of Fordington dated 13 Nov 1579 refers to "my right, claim and interest in the reversement of one copyhold now in the tenure and occupation of one [Blank space ] wrxpen?" which he bequeaths to his two sons Henry & Walter Joliffe. This grant must have been surrendered. and was probably for a standard 25 acre plot and tenement for 3 lives. By 1579 he is referring to a reversement right suggesting that at least 1 life remained. I think this was surrendered in exchange of a life long right to a cottage for Elizabeth c1585.
Roger  Keate gent   by copie dated xxiij  Rne [ ~ 1580/1] F a mest & one ffarthinge holde in the East [?] tything  __ __  xijs  __ [ missing] paide @ vjd heryot custome upon the death of Roger Keate the Elder who died  __  Roger Keate held a farthinghold at the 1615 Survey of the Manor, presumably this one, at which time he was aged 65. He was buried FStG 5 June 1620. [Link to transcription of his Will dated 15th Mar 1619/20]

He married Katherine Belman FStG in 1586.  Their son William Raskar (1564 - aft.1629) held a half place in 1615 when the Survey of the Manor gave his age as 51.

Richard  Seager   by copie grannted about iiij yeres past [~ 1596] F one ffarthinghold  Rent @ xijs  worth clare p An__ //@ ijl vjs viijd ffine @xls Richard Seager held a farthinghold in the 1615 Survey, which gave is age in 1615 as 63. It may be the same farthinghold, as the rent in both 1600 and 1615 is 12 shillings, but this seems to be a fairly standard rent for a farthinghold.  This is possibly Richard Seager buried FStG 24 December 1625. 
Richard  Seager     in the right of his wyfe holdeth by copie dated xxiij Rne [ ~ 1581] C one cottage Rent @ xviijd  worth clare // p Ann @ vjs viijd, Richard Seager held the cottage in the 1615 Survey, when he is described as Richard Seagar junior and holding the cottage by right of his wife. He is aged 58 in 1615. This is possibly the Richard Seagar buried FStG 24 December 1625.

It may be the same property - the rent in both Surveys is £16.  This is possibly Richard Seager buried FStG 24 December 1625.
Johan  Skutt widowe  by copie dated xxxiij Rne  [ ~ 1590/1] C one cottage   Rent @ ijs jd  worth //clare p Ann @ vjs viijd ffine @ xs This seems to be the Joann Scutt who married Henry Hawkins FStG 6 July 1606. She is not listed as Scutt or Hawkins in the 1615 Survey of the Manor. Burials have not been located for either Henry Hawkins or Joann Scutt, or Joann Hawkins

They married FStG 26 June 1586. she is not listed in the 1615 Survey of the Manor, her burial has not been located
Dorothie  Thorne  by copie dated //___ H  halfe a place  p Reddit @ xiijs iiijd  worth p Ann vjl clare.  Dorothie Thorne (nee Ashe) was the 2nd wife of Reynold Thorne. They married FStG 26 June 1586. she is not listed in the 1615 Survey of the Manor, her burial has not been located.
Alice  Topp   by widdowes estate H a halfe place Rent @ xiijs iiijd //  worth clare p Ann @ vjl   Alice Tapp was buried FStG 17 January 1615/16. By the 1615 Survey of the Manor, this holding was in the hands of Thomas Topp. In the 1650 Survey, it is held by Robert Tapp.
Eme  Toopes   by copye // grannted xxxty yeres past [~1570] C one cottage  Rent @ ijs  worth clare p Ann @ vjs viijd  .   Eme Toopes was the wife of Thomas Toope who died 1585 - see his Will dated 10th Mar 1584/5 . There are no Toopes/Toupes listed in the 1615 Survey of the Manor. Eme's death not yet located.
Gilbert  Tucker  by copy grannted about ix yeres past [~ 1591] F A ffarthinghold p Redd @ xiij __ [illegible] // __ took yt uppon Surrender.  Son of John Tucker and Christian Tucker. Gilbert's father John Tucker died 1588 - see Mike Russell's summary of John Tucker's will. Gilbert Tucker married Jane or Joanna, who was buried FStG 1 May 1604. Gilbert Tucker buried DHT 16 August 1617.

 John Tucker buried FStG 6 November 1603.   John Tucker is not listed in 1615 Survey of Manor of Fordington although William Tucker born ~ 1559, probably his son, held two half places.

Mike Russell notes Mary Bartlett nee Warren, his eldest daughter, inherited the tenement on his death in 1637 and was still in possession of it in the 1650 Survey of the Manor

He is not listed as a tenant in the 1615 Survey of Fordington Manor. His burial has not been located yet.

FStG register for 1600 is missing. He married Elizabeth Bascombe, made executrix of his will dated 3rd Jan 1597 in which he names six children - Hamnet, William, Roger, Robert, Elizabeth and Thomasin. [Note:- Added by Mike Russell OPC:- John Whites eldest son has his own plot below and by terms of her husband's will Elizabeth was to surrender the copyhold on his death in her favour but naming his next two sons as the 2nd and 3rd lives. Unfortunately Robert was dead by 1602 and both elizabeth and her son Roger died in 1607 so this plot descended to their 4th son Hamnet White (c1569-1633/4)]

In the 1615 Survey of the manor, John White junior has become John White senior, but is still holding this whole place of 59 acres and his age is given as 64, ie born circa 1551.

John  Willyams  O about ix yeres past [~ 1591] ffyned for the same ffarthing hold [SEE Peter Savage] at @ xiijs iiijd uppon the surrender of his wyfe.  John Willyams/Williams was buried FStG 12 June 1614. he appears to have taken up this farthinghold in 1591 and surrendered it in 1596. He is probably the John Williams, natural son of Richard Williams, mentioned in Letter of Admon for Elenor Tucker of Fordington 1573

He is listed in a 1607 Survey of the manor, as follows: John Wynsor, Uppon Hill, West Tithing, son of John [deceased – 1583] and Alice - 55 acres, two and a half meadows and one yard of pasture– rent 22s 1d. This suggest that John Wynsor died in 1609-1613 - years for which the FStG registers are missing.

Nicholas Winsor still held a whole place of 53 acres 3 roods and the half place of 18 acres 1 rood in the 1615 Survey of the Manor, at which time he was 76 years old. He was buried FStG 6 November 1618 aged 79.

Robert  Wynsor    by copie grannted xxty yeres past [~1580] C  one cottage by the rent of @ iiijd worth clare p Ann @ iiijs  Robert Wynsor/Windsore did hold a cottage in the 1615 Survey, but it was described then as 'newly erected' and 'worth not much more than the rent', so perhaps not the same cottage as in this Survey. In the 1607 Survey, it is described as Robert Wynsor, nere the east end of Dorchester, son of John (deceased) a new cottage – rent 4d. Robert's burial has not been located.  Jone, the wife of Robert Winzor the elder, was buried FStG 8 May 1622

In the 1607 Survey, his holding is described as Thomas Wynsor, East Streete, East Tithing, son of Katherine Wynsor widow of Thomas T (deceased – 1591), 25 acres, one and a half meadows, one yard of pasture – rent 13s 4d.

In the 1607 Survey of the manor, his holding is described as Roger Wynsor, Brittayne, East Tithing, son of John [deceased – 1583] and - 22 and a half acres, one and a half meadows, and one yard of pasture – rent 13s 4d.
Willm  Wynsor   by copie dated x Rne [ ~ 1567/8]  W one whole place p Reddit @ xviiijs vd  worth yerely ___ [crease - illegible]// In the 1607 Survey of the Manor, his holding is described as William Wynsor, East Streete, east tithing, son of Thomas – 54 acres, two meadows, three yards of pasture – rent 23s 4d. In 1607, William Wynsor also held a dovecote in Cadmanshire in the West tithing, formerly of Robert Winsor deceased.  William Winsor senior was buried FStG 25 February 1607/8. The whole place is probably the whole place of 53 acres 3 roods held by his widow Thomasin Windsore in the 1615 Survey of the manor, at which time she was aged 40. She still held the plot in 1650, when she is described in the Survey as the relict of William Windsor.
Willm  Wynsor   by copye grannted xiiij yeres past [~ 1586]  C one cottage Rent @ ijs jd // worth clare p Ann @ vjs viijd Thomasin Windsore held this cottage in the 1615 Survey , at which time she was recorded as aged 40 (born circa 1575). She was the relict of William Winsor senior who was buried FStG 25 February 1607/8. Thomasin was still alive in 1650, at which time she lowered her age to an improbable 60 (from ~75 years) when another Survey of the Manor was done. Thomazine died in 1655 (see Inventory) but her will dated 20th Mar 1649 was not proven with many others after the restoration in 1661, see Mike Russell's transcription
 Julian  Yeomans   by copie dated @ xxiiij Rne [ ~ 1581/2] C one cottage & curtilage Rent @ vd  worth clare p Ann @ iiijl.  Julian Yeomans not listed in the 1615 Survey of the manor. There was a family of Yeomans who attended DHT circa 1830, but no sign of Julian Yeomans in the registers.
