This is the Last Will & Testament of James POOK of Dorchester Gardener made and published this Twenty Seventh day of October 1740 Impremis: I give and devise unto my Broer [brother] William POOK one shilling and whereas I have settled the house wherein I now live on my Broer [brother n law] Thomas SWATRIDGE and his wife, I do devise that after their deaths that their daughter Sarah may enjoy the same during the remer [remainder] of my term therein All the Rest: of my estate I give unto my sister Sarah the wife of the said Thomas SWATERIDGE and I do make her sole executrix of this my Will Witness my hand and seal the day and year above The mark of: James POOK
