Probate:- This written testament was proved at London before the honourable John BENET Doctor at Law of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury the 8th day in the month of May in thye year of our lord 1616 when administration of his estate was granted to Thomas FORDE executor named in the testament Genealogical Notes:- (1). The parish Registers for St Peters have not survived for this period but I have made an entry in the burial register to link to this will. (2) The beneficiary under this will Thomas Ford (1588-1676) is thought to have emigrated to to New England in 1630. Link to more information. |
