He is unable to carry his knapsack or bear the fatigues of a march. He has not been in hospital latterly nor does he appear likely to derive any benefit from medical treatment from his impaired constitution After twenty two and a half years service I am of the opinion that he is a fir object for discharge this debility does not seem to have been aggravated by vice or intemperance. Found unfit for further service due to general debility.28th June 1842 and discharged at Londenderry when 43 years and 5 months old Comments: - His Character is good. It appears that he was tried by a Regimental Court Martial at Gibraltar on the 30th August 1830 for highly disrespectful conduct towards Serjeant Cragg. He was again tried by Regimental Court Martial at Londonderry on 3rd January 1842 for having been ??? ??? at Lifford ??? the 31st December 1841 when left to give over the Barracks there upon the Relief of the detachment to which he had belonged
