Note:- Most of the Minutes of the Militia Meeting for the Dorchester Sub Division are missing for this period but there are a few surviving entries which can be found in a file containing the signatures of some substitutes taking the oath or where individuals from Dorchester or Fordington volunteered to be a substitute for someone else in another sub division.
