This is the Last Will and Testament of me Thomas ROLLS of Hazelbury Briant in the County of Dorset, Yeoman, in manner and form following (that is to say)
I give and bequeath unto my natural daughter, Susanna, the wife of Richard SHITTLER, ten pounds of lawfull money of Great Britain.
Also I give and bequeath unto my natural daughter, Ann the wife of Edward DAVIS, ten pounds of lawfull money of Great Britain.
Also I give and bequeath unto Rose, the wife of Thomas HARDY, twenty pounds, all to be paid within twelve months and one day after my decease.
Also I give unto Ann ROSE, daughter of Samuel ROSE of Sturminster Newton, two pounds ten shillings.
Also I give unto Thomas ROSE, son of Samuel ROSE, two pounds ten shillings.
Also I give to Mary ROSE, daughter of Samuel ROSE, two pounds ten shillings.
Also I give unto Christian ROSE, daughter of Samuel ROSE, two pounds ten shillings, to be paid as soon as each of them come to the age of twenty one.
Also I give and bequeath unto my natural son, Thomas ROLLS, all my household goods, furniture, implements and ornaments of household goods, chattels and effects and all and singular my many securities for money rights, credits, personal estate and effects, whatsoever subject and charged and chargeable nevertheless and with the payment of all my just debts and my funeral expenses to and for his own use and benefit and thereby make, ordain, constitute and appoint the said Thomas ROLLS my natural son as aforesaid sole Executor of this my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made and declaring this to be my -- Last Will and Testament.
In witness whereof I have to this my Last Will and Testament, written upon and contained on this half sheet of paper, set my hand and seal this twenty seventh day of June in the year of our Lord, one thousand seven hundred and ninety eight.
Signed, sealed, published and declared by the said Testator, Thomas ROLLS, as and for his Last Will and Testament, in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses hereto in his presence, at his request and in the presence of each other.

On the 8th day of Nov 1799, the foregoing Will of Thomas ROLLS deceased, was proved by the oath of Thomas ROLLS, the sole Executor within named, to whom Administration of all and singular, the goods, chattels and credits of the said deceased was granted, he being first sworn, well and faithfully to administer the same, to exhibit a true and perfect inventory thereof, into the Registry of the Archdeacon of Dorset and render a just account whereof when lawfully required.
