Genealogical Notes:-

(1). Burial: Unfortunately burials records for Fordington for the year 1679 are only available up to May of that year. Richard is likely to have died about Sep or Oct 1679 shortly before the Inventory of his goods and chattels was taken. I have not been able to locate a will or a letter of administration so we do not know who carried out administration.

(2) I have so far only located two records that relate to him:-

(2.1) Fordington Parish burial registers record the burial of an 'Agnes ye wife of Richard BARTLETT on 28th Aug 1670'

(2.2) The 1650 Survey of Fordington Manor refers to Richard BARTLETT holding by a copyhold grant dated 2nd Oct 1620 a tenement and a farthinghold plot containing 3 roods of Meadow and 17 acres of arable land in Fordington Fields and gives his age as being about 50 which would make him born c1600 when Fordington Baptism registers are missing.
(2). Ambrose Hunt (1624-1680/1) Link to his place in the HUNT Family Bio
