Will of James Tizard - 1783

Dated 25 August 1780 Proved 31 March 1783

In the Name of God Amen I James Tizard of Weymouth and Melcombe Regis in the County of Dorset Mariner Being Blessed be God in good health sound mind and perfect Understanding Do this Twenty fifth day of August in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and Eighty Make and publish this my last Will and testament in the Manner and form & following (that is to say)
First I give to my wife Elizabeth Tizard the Sum of One Shilling - All my Household Goods and furniture Money and Securities for Money Outstanding Debts due to me plate China linnen and Woollen apparell And all and every part and parts of my Estates both Real[?] and personal Whatsoever of Wheresoever I Give unto my Loveing father John Tizard of Weymouth and Melcombe Regis Taylor Mr Morgan Wallis of the same place Shipwright Mr Thomas Martin of the same place Plumber In trust for the several Uses and purposses following (that is to say).
To Employ any part thereof for the support Maintainance and Education of my Children And if any part thereof shall remain in their or either of their possossions at the time when my youngest child do arive and come to be Twenty One years of age such remaining part thereof shall be equally divided between and Amongst my Children share and share alike And to no Other Use or purpose Whatsoever And I do nominate Constitute and Appoint my said father John Tizard And My said friends Mr Morgan Wallis and Mr Thomas Martin executors of this my Last Will and Testament. In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and seal the day and year first Above Written.
