June 27th one thousand seven hundred and ninety five, this to be the Last Will and power of William BARNS of Haselbryant in the County of Dorset, Yeoman.

I do give unto my wife Betty BARNS all my lands, stock, goods and chattels belonging to the said William BARNS during hear life and after hear life, I do give unto my son Benjamin BARNS of Haselbryant, Dorset, Yeoman my hous? out houses, garding and closes called Linches consisting of -- eakers more of les, he and his awers forever.

I do hereby give unto my son James BARNS of Haselbryant, Dorset, Yeoman a feeld called Gason? consisting fore eakers more or lest.

I do give unto my son William BARNS of Crookhorn in Somershear, a feeld called Partway, he an his awers forever fore eaker. All setiuated in Haselbryant foresaid.

I do give unto Henry NEWMAN of Beminster, Dorset, his five children had by Susaner BARNS one poun one shilen each child.

I do give unto my servant one pound one shilen.

I do give unto my son James BARNS any waring aparel.

I do make my son James and Benjamin BARNS joint Exeters.

On the 8th day of November 1799 the within written Will of William BARNS deceased was proved by the oaths of James and Benjamin BARNS, the sons of the deceased and the joint Executors within named, to whom Administration of all and singular, the goods, chattels and credits of the said deceased was granted, they being first duly sworn, well and faithfully to administer the same, to exhibit a true and perfect Inventory thereof, into the Registry of the Archdeacon of Dorset and render a just account thereon when thereto lawfully required.

In the Court of the Archdeacon of Dorset, appeared personally Thomas ROLLS of Hazelbury Bryant, in the County of Dorset, Yeoman and being sworn upon the Holy Evangelist to depose the truth deposeth as follows, that he well knew and was acquainted with William BARNS of Hazelbury Bryant aforesaid, Yeoman deceased for several years before and to the time of his death and during such time have after seen him write and hereby become well acquainted with his manner and character of hand writing and having now seen and carefully perused the paper writing hereunto annexed purporting to be the Last Will and Testament of the said deceased beginning thus.

June 27 one thousand seven hundred and ninety five, this to be the Last Will and Testament of William BARNS of Haselbryant in the County of Dorset, Yeoman and ending thus, I do make my son James and Benjamin BARNS joint Executors. That to this deponart? says that he verify -- the whole -- thereof to be all of the -- proper bound writing of the said deceased.
Sworn at Blandford Forum in the said County, the eighth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety nine.
